About Our Practice

Since 1972 the Chartered Physiotherapists at Cheylesmore Physiotherapy Practice have been providing a prompt and effective physiotherapy service to clients across Coventry and the surrounding areas. Our practice is located in a purpose-built architect-designed premise to provide a friendly informal environment.

All physiotherapists working with us are Chartered Physiotherapists and registered with the Health Care Professions Council. We are also registered with all major health insurance companies.

Our clinic is in The Park Paling, Cheylesmore, Coventry. This is just over a mile from the city centre and the railway station. There are no parking restrictions and there is a frequent bus service to the end of The Park Paling. The bus stop is approximately 300 yards away from our practice.

Meet Our Team

At Cheylesmore Physiotherapy Practice, we have a team of qualified private physiotherapists offering effective physiotherapy treatments. With many years of experience, we have developed an in depth knowledge of our physiotherapy works for different physical conditions and offer a personalised service to our patients.

Peter Sargent

Peter founded Cheylesmore Physiotherapy Practice in 1972 with his wife Monica, when they were both working as physiotherapists in the NHS. Although no longer treating patients, he continues to oversee the Practice and enjoys speaking with patients.

Claire Blinco

Claire oversees the daily running of the Practice and makes sure the patients and physiotherapists are happy.

Alison Bate

Ali has been working with us for 10 years and has over 20 years’ experience in musculoskeletal physio. Her current area of interest is Jems Movement- Joanne Elphinston Movement Systems, and we are seeing some great results with this.

Sarah Eames

Sarah returned to the UK following 20 years in Hong Kong and has been sharing her expertise with us. An experienced musculoskeletal physiotherapist with interest in Lymphoedema Management and massage.

Kate Stevenson

Kate is a very experience Extended Scope Practitioner working at a local hospital. She has been with us for over 10 years sharing her knowledge and also offering patients acupuncture as an additional treatment technique.

Anita Chandak

Anita has gained over 15 years experience working in the NHS, and offers this experience to us one day a week.
