Frequently Asked Questions

add remove Do you do manipulation?
Yes, physiotherapists are trained to manipulate if this is appropriate following your assessment.
add remove Will physiotherapy help me?
This is very hard to accurately assess over the phone. However, attending an assessment with us will allow us to establish if physiotherapy will be of help to you. If we find this not to be the case, we will advise you of this and if necessary, refer you to the appropriate medical body.
add remove Is there parking?
Yes, there are spaces on the driveway, and unrestricted parking on the road.
add remove Are you available on weekends and public holidays?
Yes. We are available on Saturday morning from 9:00 to 10:30. We also take out-of-hours appointments.
add remove Is your practice near the city centre?
Our practice is located just over a mile from the Coventry railway station.
add remove What should I wear?
If we are treating the lower body, hips, knees or ankle, we advise you to wear shorts.
add remove Can I pay by credit or debit card?
Yes, we accept all major cards. Payment can also be made by cash or cheque. We also allow direct payment from insurance companies.
add remove Is the practice recognised by Bupa and AXA PPP?
Yes.
add remove May I be accompanied during treatment?
Yes, you are very welcome to bring someone with you.
add remove Do I need a doctor’s referral?
No, you may refer yourself, but if appropriate, the physiotherapist may ask permission to contact your doctor.
add remove May I bring a child or baby with me if I am unable to arrange someone to care for him or her?
Yes, we are generally able to help with this.
add remove Is there disabled access?
Yes, there are no steps in the driveway, but there is a small step into the entrance, and wheelchairs can easily be helped over this.
